The Problem:

Transcription app will be a cross-platform application which will help the users to record the audio
and then get it transcribed within the application.

Task:

Transcription app will be a mobile application from where customers can log in into app using their
email & password. The app will help them to record and transcribe the audio files. All the recorded
audio file will be sent to IBM Watson Speech to Text API and Transcription text will be returned
as a response. The recording and transcription files will be uploaded on the cloud server. Each user will
get all files synced when login into the app from any device.
The app will support just English language to transcribe for now in this version.

The Process Used:

I used the design thinking process to demonstrate this application

1. Empathize with the users:- Journalist.

2. Define:- I defined the user's problem and created the scenarios.

3. Ideate:- After defining the problem I created some Lo-Fi mockups and done brainstorming for the better user flows and the solution.

4. Prototype:-  I create the prototype and start solving the pain points of the users.

5. Iterate/Test:-  After creating the prototype I tested the application the got the solution.

My Role:

My role was to understand the thought process, workflows, create wireframes and 2 screens of UI mockups for a theme.

I also created an interactive prototype and evaluate the iteration process to get an intuitive application for the users.
